Remembrance Day 2020

November 11, 2020

This year, the NDDLC honoured all those who have served our country in the military, police, and emergency services – many paying the ultimate price of losing their lives in our defense.

In a year like no other we are having to find new ways to commemorate those things most important to us as a community. Working with the Royal Canadian Legion, and following appropriate physical distancing protocols, the NDDLC arranged to lay wreaths in Cowichan, Nanaimo and Qualicum Beach this Remembrance Day.  It is with deepest respect that we commemorate those who have lost their lives, and those who continue to put their lives on the line everyday so that we may live in peace and enjoy the freedoms of this great country.  We also express our gratitude to the families of all those who serve.

Lest we forget.
